I’ve had a personal website for a while, a terminal-style UI I built for fun. It was a cool experiment, but not something I’d actually use to write or share anything meaningful.

I recently stepped away from my last role to take a break, and it felt like the right time to finally rebuild it into something I’d actually keep coming back to. A simple space to write, document what I’m learning, and have a corner of the internet that feels like mine.

So I stripped it all back - Hugo, a clean theme, and nothing else. I’d rather spend time writing than tweaking a build pipeline.

I plan to use this site to:

  • Write about backend systems, infrastructure, and things I learn along the way
  • Document side projects and experiments
  • Occasionally write about running, photography, and travel

The old terminal UI was fun. This version is meant to be useful.
