This is my /now page. It’s an occasionally updated summary of what I’m currently working on, learning and thinking about.
In February, I decided to step away from my previous role to take a short break and reset. After spending the past few years building software products at startups, I wanted some time to recharge and reflect on what I want to work on next.
Building
Taking a deliberate pause from shipping to figure out what I want to work on next, researching domains, talking to people, and getting a clearer picture of the kind of problems I want to spend my time on.
Learning
Diving deeper into AI and LLMs, how they work under the hood and how to build reliable systems around them. Also spending time on systems design, thinking through how large-scale software is architected and the trade-offs involved.
Reading
Just started Operating System: Three Easy Pieces by Remzi Arpaci-Dusseau. Going back to fundamentals, it’s been a good reminder of how much depth there is beneath the abstractions we take for granted every day.
